We operate the website www.bionicband.cz. In relation to your personal data, we act as the controller: we determine how your personal data will be processed and for what purpose, for how long, and we select any processors who may assist us with the processing.
How can you contact us?
If you wish to contact us during the processing of your personal data, you can reach us at the email address: info@bionicband.cz.
Which personal data do we process and why?
We process personal data that you provide to us yourself, for the following reasons (in order to fulfil these purposes):
Provision of services, performance of the contract, organisation of webinars, training, delivery of goods
- first name and surname,
- email address,
- telephone number,
- postal address,
- billing details (company name, Business ID, VAT ID, bank account numbers),
- other data as may be necessary depending on the service provided.
Provision of services and performance of the contract
We necessarily need your personal data, in the scope of billing details, email, phone number and, where applicable, correspondence address, in order to fulfil the contract (e.g. to send samples, deliver goods).
Accounting
If you are a customer, we necessarily need your personal data (billing details) in order to comply with our legal obligation to issue and keep tax documents.
Marketing – sending personalised newsletters (legitimate interest / consent)
We use your personal data (email and name), gender, information about what you click on in emails and when you most often open them for the purpose of direct marketing – sending commercial communications. We do not want to send you leaflets that do not interest you. Therefore, we monitor whether you are interested in our emails and, based on what you click on in the emails, we try to tailor the content of these emails to you.
If you are our customer, we consider it our legitimate interest to send you such tailored newsletters for a maximum period of 5 years from your last order.
If you receive free samples from us or register to receive news on our blog, we will send you our newsletters based on your consent, for a period of 5 years from the date the consent was given.
In both cases, you can unsubscribe from newsletters in every email you receive. We will not be upset with you. It is your right.
Direct marketing via FB Messenger
If you contact our Facebook page via Messenger, we will ask for your consent to send you messages related to the website www.bionicband.cz. Only on the basis of your consent will we send you these messages, for a maximum period of 5 years from the granting of consent. You can unsubscribe from receiving these messages at any time by replying to any message with the word “stop”, after which you will no longer receive any further messages from us via Messenger.
Advanced marketing based on consent
Only on the basis of your consent may we also send you inspiring offers from third parties or use your email address, for example for remarketing and ad targeting on Facebook, for a maximum period of 3 years from the granting of consent. You may, of course, withdraw this consent at any time through our contact details.
We retain your personal data for the duration of the limitation periods unless the law stipulates a longer period for their retention or we have stated otherwise in specific cases.
Photographs and video recordings from seminars
At some of our live events – training sessions, seminars, demonstration events, etc. – we take photographic documentation or video recordings. We use photographs and videos in promotional materials, especially on our website. You will never find the names of participants alongside these materials unless it is a reference, and then only on the basis of consent. If you do not wish to appear in such recordings, please let us know using our contact details before the live event is held.
We retain your personal data for the duration of the limitation periods unless the law stipulates a longer period for their retention or we have stated otherwise in specific cases.
Which personal data do we process and why?
Our employees and collaborators, who are bound by confidentiality and trained in the security of personal data processing, have access to your personal data.
We handle most processing operations ourselves and do not need third parties for them.
To ensure certain specific processing operations that we cannot provide with our own resources, we use the services and applications of processors who specialise in such processing and are GDPR-compliant.

Security and protection of personal data
We protect personal data to the maximum extent possible using modern technologies that correspond to the level of technical development. We protect them as if they were our own. We have adopted and maintain all possible (currently known) technical and organisational measures that prevent misuse, damage or destruction of your personal data.
Transfer of data outside the EU
We process data exclusively within the European Union or in countries that ensure an adequate level of protection on the basis of a decision of the European Commission.
Your rights in connection with personal data protection
In connection with the protection of personal data, you have a number of rights. If you wish to exercise any of these rights, please contact us by email at info@bionicband.cz.
You have the right to information, which is fulfilled by this information page with the principles of personal data processing.
Thanks to the right of access, you can ask us at any time and we will, within 30 days, provide you with proof of which of your personal data we process and why.
You have the right to restriction of processing if you believe that we are processing inaccurate data about you, you believe that we are processing your data unlawfully but do not want all of your data to be erased, or if you have objected to the processing. You may restrict the scope of personal data or the purposes of processing (for example, by unsubscribing from the newsletter, you limit the purpose of processing for sending commercial communications).
If anything changes for you or you find your personal data to be outdated or incomplete, you have the right to have your personal data supplemented and rectified.
Right to object
If you believe that we are processing your personal data unlawfully.
Right to data portability
If you wish to take your personal data and transfer it to someone else, we will proceed in the same way as when exercising your right of access – with the difference that we will provide the information to you in a machine-readable format. For this we need at least 30 days.
Right to erasure (right to be forgotten)
Another one of your rights is the right to erasure (the right to be forgotten). We do not want to forget you, but if you wish, you have the right to do so. In such a case, we will erase all your personal data from our system and from the systems of all individual processors and backups.
We need 30 days to ensure the right to erasure.
In some cases, we are bound by a legal obligation, e.g. we must keep issued tax documents for the period stipulated by law. In such a case, we will erase all personal data that are not bound by another legal obligation. We will inform you of the completion of the erasure by email.
Complaint to the Office for Personal Data Protection
If you feel that we are not handling your data in accordance with the law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection at any time. We would greatly appreciate it if you would first inform us of this suspicion so that we can address it and remedy any potential misconduct.
Unsubscribing from newsletters and commercial communications
We send you emails with inspiration, articles or products and services if you are our customer or if you have received a free sample from us, on the basis of our legitimate interest. You can unsubscribe by using the unsubscribe link in every email.
In other cases (e.g. registration for newsletter subscription), we send them to you only on the basis of your consent. In all cases, you can end the subscription to our emails by clicking the unsubscribe link in every email we send.
Confidentiality
We would like to assure you that our employees and collaborators who will process your personal data are obliged to maintain confidentiality about personal data and about security measures, the disclosure of which could jeopardise the security of your personal data.
